The outdoor ceremony space overlooks a horse pasture, a wide open meadow and Cabin Run Creek. The venue has 300 mismatched chairs it can place outside for seating. The wedding arbor at the end of the aisle is hand crafted from a tobacco barn in Lancaster and can be decorated with beautiful florals in whatever style you’d like. The barn and pasture provide gorgeous backdrops!
The barn functions as your reception space (and a backup ceremony spot in case of rain). This barn has a lot of history, but it’s also been exceptionally well maintained and restored! This space has marquee lighting, beautiful bay windows and even . . . REAL BATHROOMS. No porta potties required. The barn extends beyond the main room to a bar area, and another room that can be used for dancing, photo booths, buffet lines, etc.
This is something I love about Durham Hill Farm - you get to bring a lot of your own choice to the table when crafting your perfect wedding here. They're also super up front about that - Their site says "Other venues offer a low up front venue fee, then slowly up charge you for each table, chair and fork you use, we however do not. Your contract guarantees the exclusive use of Durham Hill Farm throughout your event."
Durham Hill Farm has a list of preferred caterers who are well acquainted with the venue's layout and policies. They're all highly rated, delicious, and know how to give you the best experience possible! Personally I love it when people bring food trucks in!
You can bring in any florist you'd like - but here are some that I've seen do an especially amazing job there!
