As a Colorado wedding photographer, I love to tell genuine stories of couples who believe in living in the moment. One of my favorite ways to live in the moment is by capturing date nights, engagement sessions, and even uniquely themed weddings, at speakeasies throughout the state of Colorado. This resource lays out every unique Colorado speakeasy that I love and is full of fun date night ideas for you and your partner.

What is a Speakeasy?
Originally dating back to the Prohibition era, speakeasies were originally created as secret, often underground, bars that would allow patrons to consume alcoholic beverages despite alcohol being illegal. However, they have remained a pillar of modern society despite alcohol now being legal. Speakeasies today are often hidden or not as they originally appear, nodding to the original hidden nature of these types of establishments.
