Loveland Pass + Breckenridge Elopement | Shelby & Gabriel

There’s something about sunrise at 11,000 feet that hits different. The world feels quiet and huge, like you’ve got it all to yourself. That’s exactly how it felt for Shelby and Gabriel’s elopement at Loveland Pass.

Even though it was June, it was cold – the kind of cold that reminds you you’re standing on top of the Rockies. But we were lucky, most of the snow had finally melted, just enough to make their ceremony possible. Their closest friends huddled together, wrapped in blankets, watching the sun rise over the peaks while Shelby and Gabriel said their vows. It was simple, beautiful, and so completely them.

After the ceremony, everyone headed down the mountain for breakfast together. I took that time to warm up (and back up their photos. I’ve got priorities), then met back up with them later for a group hike. We wrapped up the day with dinner before they took off to party and celebrate the night away.

This is exactly why I offer full-day coverage for weddings and elopements. It’s not about clocking in or out – it’s about documenting the full story. The slow mornings, the in-between moments, the hikes, the post-ceremony hangs. I want you to dream up a day that actually feels like you without worrying about a timeline or my hours.

Shelby and Gabriel did exactly that. They built a day that felt fun, connected, and real – and it was awesome to be a part of it.
